Lighting LED module for contactless measurement of physiological parameters
Byrtus, David ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of the illumination LED module for contactless measurement of basic physiological parameters. Contactless methods is based on the fotopletysmografických methods. The acquisition parameters used video camera for monitoring body part of the patient. Designed lighting LED module is used to enhance the optical signal with respect to quantum efficiency of the camera used. The acquired video sequences are then programmatically processed, analyzed, and the result is an estimate of the measured parameter.
Non-contact temperature measurement
Sládek, Vojtěch ; Minář, Petr (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was the study of non-contact temperature measurement and the use of this measurement in the field of production machines. The first part of thesis includes concepts and definitions that are necessary for familiarization with the issue. In the second, practical part, contact and non-contact measurements were compared in two experiments. In the first one the machine frame was measured, on which the thermal load was simulated, the emission was determined, which was compared with emissivity from the tables. In the second experiment, the temperature gradient of the ball screw was measured during the ball screw operation and was determined emissivity, which was again compared with the table values. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes advantages and disadvantages of non-contact measurements that have been verified in practice.
Comparison of the imaging capabilities of the transmission and scanning electron microscope
Maňka, Tadeáš ; Šamořil, Tomáš (referee) ; Zlámal, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this work is to compare the imaging capabilities of the transmission and scanning electron microscope. The theoretical part describes the construction and the principle of each type of microscope. There is a list of the signal detectors, and the principle of imaging is described. The samples and their preparation are described. The practical part is aimed to imaging possibilities of both microscopes. A standard calibration samples were used for comparison. The advantages and disadvantages of both microscopes were discussed.
Radioactive measurement with geolocation record
Bali-Jenčíková, Kateřina ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with radioactivity research, types of radioactive radiation and radiation detection. There are described types of ionization radiation detectors. The diploma thesis contains the description and principle of the GPS system function. The content is also a proposal with the subsequent realization of a detection device allowing the recording of geolocation. The resulting device is fully mobile with battery status indication. The results are recorded on the SD card.
Temperature measurement of a machine tool
Novotný, Petr ; Merenus, Ondřej (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The aim of this work is to get acquainted with the problems of temperature measurement, various types of non-contact temperature measurement and types of non-contact gauges. It also tries to explain the basic concepts and knowledge from the field of machine tools and their thermal load. Part of the thesis is to test this knowledge using measurements at Intemac Solutions s.r.o. The acquired knowledge is then evaluated using graphs and tables.
Gamma and X- ray CdTe/CdZnTe detectors
Pekárek, Jakub
In the present work we studied an influence of different types of surface etching and surface passivation of high resistivity CdZnTe-based semiconductor detector material. The aim was to find the optimal conditions to improve the properties of metal-semiconductor contact. The main effort was to reduce the leakage current and thus get better X-ray and gamma-ray spectrum, ie to create a detector operating at room temperature based on this semiconductor material with sufficient energy resolution and the maximum charge collection efficiency. Individual surface treatments were characterized by volt-ampere characteristics, spectral analysis and by determination of the profile of the internal electric field.
